Mandala Greeting Cards
Mandala Greeting Cards
Mandalas are universal symbols of integration, harmony, and transcendence. In Sanskrit, mandala means circle and center. Mandalas have been used cross-culturally throughout history as a means of establishing balance, promoting unity and healing, while depicting the cyclic nature of life. They are effective vehicles for growth and the ongoing transformation of human consciousness.
Jim Lind uses the mandala as a means of assisting the growth of our planet by depicting the interdependence of its life forms and natural resources. His mandalas vary widely in content. Two of his popular motifs are promoting the awareness of threatened and endangered species and working on personal mandalas for individuals - providing them some visual territory for inner and outer growth.
